Tayyab Ahmed
Tayyab Ahmed leads DinarStandard’s work in Islamic finance. Tayyab’s previous research engages in emerging aspects of the global Islamic economy, including the growing pensions crisis, Sukuk restructuring and the role of ijtihad in Islamic finance. He has presented his research at conferences in Cambridge, Doha and Kuala Lumpur. Tayyab has experience of global Awqaf markets, having completed an engagement with a GCC-based government client to deliver a landmark report on the State of Global Endowments and Awqaf that covers the Awqaf market landscape in considerable detail. Tayyab is an MSc candidate in Islamic Finance at INCEIF in Kuala Lumpur, and holds a Masters degree (LLM) in corporate and commercial law from the London School of Economics.
