Christian Heyner

Christian Heyner is the President of the Board of the 1bank4all Founding Association. The association has the goal to found the first global social bank, a bank that gives access to fair financial services to everybody.

Christian graduated from the University of Zurich with a focus on banking. Back in 1986, he was already involved in the founding of the Alternative Bank Switzerland (ABS). After that, he worked for small and large financial institutions in Europe, giving him now over 30 years of experience in the financial industry.

During extensive travels in Latin America, Africa and Asia, Christian studied in particular the so-called micro-financial institutions. The conscious and meaningful handling of money is an important, personal concern for him. That is why he decided to redistribute his knowledge to found an innovative, social and sustainable bank.
